I make felted scarves, bags, vessels, balls and cubes from home, hopefully with a contemporary twist. Taking my inspiration from the environment here in Shetland with its stunning coastline and scenery,
I like my work to be very organic, touchable, soft and gentle at times but also robust.
Using mainly lambswool and shetland fleece in my products, some of which are knitted first and some made straight from raw fleece, it is always exciting seeing the finished product, as no two turn out exactly the same.
A National Certificate in Art, Craft and Design and a Diploma in Contemporary Textiles achieved at Shetland College completed January 2005
