Mary T Designs specialises in using Shetland wool to create stylish warm hats and scarves. A high degree of wind and waterproofing is achieved by using a process of felting. Inspiration is drawn from a diverse combination of Shetland and Norse landscape and mythology to create a uniquely stylish and quality product.
All hats and scarves are available in a choice of colours with matching gloves. Individual orders are accepted and throws and cushion covers are now also made to commission.
Outlets in Lerwick are The Spiders Web, Another Catastrophe, Past and Present and Rod & Line Fishing Tackle. Visitors welcome to workshop in Brae.
Outlets on the Scottish mainland are DI Gilpin, Hansa House, Burghers Close, 141 South Street and Farmore Interiors, 175 South Street, both in St Andrews.
