Just Shetland
Just Shetland design and weave original textiles with an emphasis on drape, colour and handle. By merging interesting colours, textures and yarns I take pride in producing functional fabrics which give pleasure to the wearer.
I use selected wool and fibre to create unique hand-woven articles. Many of the yarns used in the weaving process are hand-spun, and most of my hand spun and commercially spun materials are hand-dyed.
By combining traditional weaving methods and a modern, adaptable, dyeing process I look to create individual pieces that are both tactile and visually exciting.
I am happy to offer bespoke or commissioned hand-woven pieces.
